This 35-acre property is adjacent to the South Skunk River and is approximately 1 mile south of Story City. The property includes reconstructed prairie, oxbow wetlands, oak savanna, and riparian forest.

This area is a wildlife refuge. Hunting or trapping is not allowed.
The property was purchased on contract in 2019 with the assistance of Partners memberships from Rosemary Osheim and became open to the public in 2022. Rosemary invested her loving care into the property. She nurtured its many prairie and wetland plants as well as its forest and nature trails.
