Hot weather is upon us! Please make sure that during this time pets and livestock receive plenty of cold water, and a place to be that is out of the sun. Just like with people, heat exhaustion can set in very quickly, and cause quick death. Make sure that you check on your outdoor animals, and livestock several times per day. If you happen to see animals that do not have water, or are left out in the sun, or suffering from distress, contact your local animal control agency or police department immediately! Together, we can make sure that no animal loses it's life over something that could have been prevented.
