[ARCHIVED] Evening Prairie Walk at Doolittle Prairie on August 23

The Iowa Prairie Network and Story County Conservation invite the public to attend their monthly series of evening prairie walks at Doolittle Prairie. The last prairie walk of the summer will be held Thursday, August 23 beginning at 7:00 p.m. Doolittle Prairie (14249 560th Ave) is located south of Story City. The walks are free and open to the public; no registration is required.

Participants will enjoy viewing the largest prairie remnant in Story County with prairie enthusiast Lloyd Crim. Bring a camera for glimpses of rare prairie foliage! Participants are encouraged to dress appropriately for the walks, including sturdy walking shoes, long pants, and bug spray.
