[ARCHIVED] Trick-or-Treat on October 19 at Hickory Grove Park

Story County Conservation invites all goblins and ghouls to trick-or-treat at Hickory Grove Park on Friday, October 19.

The family-friendly event will take place at Breezy Bay Campground (67735 250th Street, Colo 50056) from 5:30 p.m. – 7 p.m. on October 19.

This is the third year that SCC has sponsored trick-or-treating at Breezy Bay Campground. Campers, who participate by decorating their campsites or handing out candy, will receive certificates for a free night of camping (with an expiration date of October 2013).

"This is a great event for us because it gets the public out into one of our parks,” Park Ranger Dustin Eighmy said. “It’s fun for the whole family and fun for the campers who participate too."

For more information about this or other public programs, contact Story County Conservation at 515-232-2516 (8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday), or email conservation@storycounty.com.
