As we walk through this tragedy together we must work toward solutions. There are many but they require cooperation and understanding. Please remember kindness, empathy and compassion as we all navigate the upcoming days, weeks and conversations. This is when we need each other the most. We can weather this storm if we remember that we all have a common goal: to live, play and pray in safety.
Our deepest condolences again to those who lost loved ones yesterday and overwhelming gratitude to the members of the Story County Sheriff’s Office and the many first responders and public safety agencies that responded.
