The Story County Trails Advisory Committee invites the public to attend its monthly meeting in conjunction with annual equipment cleaning and sharpening on Thursday, March 28, beginning at 7:30 p.m. Attendees will meet at the McFarland Park shop, east of the Story County Conservation Center (56461 180th Street, Ames) towards the dead end on 180th Street. This is a great time to meet others interested in trails even if you haven't been to a trails advisory committee meeting before.
If you enjoy biking, hiking, horseback riding, or canoeing in Story County, you are invited to attend the meeting. Come to share your ideas or consider volunteering your time to improve Story County Conservation’s many trail systems.
