TEAM up with the Story County Trails Advisory Committee! Join Story County Conservation for a TEAM (Trail Enhancement And Management) Day at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 22 at Bear Creek.
All volunteers are asked to bring a water bottle and dress for the weather; long sleeved shirts, pants, gloves, and sturdy, close-toed shoes are strongly recommended. Volunteers should meet at Bear Creek (16415 Pleasant Valley Rd., Story City, 50248), 1.6 miles south of 150th Street on Pleasant Valley Road.
If you like the outdoors and want a hands-on volunteer experience – we’d love to have you help with this Story County trail! Registration is required by 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 20, to ensure that we can provide a sufficient amount of supplies.
