[ARCHIVED] Earth Day Wildflower Hike is April 22

Join Story County Conservation Naturalist Amy Yoakum for a hike through Robison Wildlife Acres on Earth Day.

The Earth Day Wildflower Hike will take place on Sunday, April 22, beginning at 3 p.m. During the hike, participants will search for woodland wildflowers and learn about the restoration project taking place at the park.

This is a moderate hike suitable for families with small children; however, the trails at Robison are not stroller friendly. Hikers are advised to wear comfortable shoes and should dress for the weather; binoculars and water bottles are also encouraged.

Pre-registration is required by 4:00 p.m., Thursday, April 19; there is no fee for this event.
While registering, please include a phone number where we can reach you on the day of the hike (in case of weather cancellation).

Robison Wildlife Acres is located at 295th Street and 632nd Avenue (5.5 miles south of U.S. Highway 30 on County Road S-14, then one mile east on 295th Street.) Participants will meet in the Robison Wildlife Acres parking lot.
