Adopting A Pet

Our hours of operation are from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., extending to 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday through Fridays. Please note that we are closed on weekends and holidays. To safeguard the well-being and contentment of our adoptable animals, access to the dog area is restricted, whereas the cat area is open for viewing only.  In order to interact with any animals that you may be interested in adopting an application must be submitted and approved. A staff member will reach out to you by email to schedule an appointment for a meet and greet.

Working/Barn Cats

A working cat or barn cat is a cat that has come into the shelter and would prefer a life outdoors with minimal contact. These wonderful cats would love to spend their time patrolling your barn or outbuilding and provide you with a rodent free property. Our working cats are free to adopt, are spayed or neutered, and vaccinated with distemper, rabies, and treated for internal and external parasites.
