Tedesco Connector Trail

Runs from University Blvd. in south Ames to R-38

A 10' paved trail extending from University Boulevard to county highway R-38, connecting the Tedesco Environmental Learning Corridor and the rest of Ames to surrounding communities, the Heart of Iowa Nature Trail, and the High Trestle Trail.

Bluebird nesting boxes and native plantings along the trail support wildlife and invite a pause in our busy days. The trail itself is a destination for some and the Ames to Kelley railroad line is again a welcoming gateway into Ames.
